Before coating, the strip is bright-annealed and skin-passed to a smooth 2B finish, so the paint lands on an even, clean base.

On the line we apply a primer, then a polyester or PVDF topcoat, curing each stage so the film survives bending, stamping, and roll forming without lifting at the fold. Finish comes in RAL or custom colors, gloss or matte, and the painted face gets a peelable film before shipment to keep handling marks off the job site. 430/2B prepainted stainless coil starts from a low-nickel ferritic base, delivering stainless-level corrosion resistance and formability at a price less exposed to nickel swings than 304. The 2B surface is smooth and uniform, giving the paint a consistent anchor across the full coil.

The coating acts as a second layer of protection. Primer, topcoat and a backing coat shield both faces of the steel; the topcoat resists UV fading, scratching and impact, and because the paint is applied on the line rather than on site, film thickness is even and edges stay covered. That even film is why the coil can be stamped, bent and deep-drawn without cracking, with T-bend and salt spray results holding from first meter to last.
