Spangle Classification
1. Regular Spangle (Normal Spangle)
Formation Principle:
Zinc bath contains lead (Pb) or antimony (Sb) as nucleating agents. After exiting the zinc pot, the strip cools naturally and slowly, allowing zinc atoms sufficient time to grow around limited nuclei, forming large, distinct snowflake crystal patterns.
Clear, visible hexagonal snowflake patterns

Surface roughness: Ra 1.5-3.0μm

Ultra-low lead content (<0.005%) in zinc bath, no antimony or other spangle-inducing elements. Ultra-rapid cooling after zinc pot exit completely suppresses zinc crystal nucleation and growth, followed by skin-pass rolling to eliminate micro-texture.
