The hot-dip galvanized coating protects the steel perfectly. For normal inland environments, we use a standard 85μm zinc coating. This coating can last 25 years in our local climate, exactly matching the service life of your solar panels. You don't need to do any extra maintenance for the coating during the whole life of the system.

For coastal areas with high salt spray, we offer a thicker 120μm coating. This thicker coating can resist the salt in the air, so it can last 20 years even in humid, salty coastal environments.

Every 6 months, check the bolt torque. The temperature on the rooftop changes a lot between day and night, which can make the bolts loose over time. This simple check can stop big problems later.

Also, keep the rooftop clean. Sweep away dust and sand every few months, so it doesn't trap moisture against the coating. If you're in a coastal area, wash the parts with clean water once a month to wash away salt residue.
